I am so glad I took a chance and went here! It's always a challenge going to a new place because you never want to be disappointed and feel as though you wasted your time or money, but Carrabas in Palm Coast was AMAZING! Karlie is perhaps the best server I have ever had. She was able to guide us with menu choices and give us a quick history of the restaurant. I was so pleased with the service and the food. The lobster ravioli was delightful and the peach sangria... perfect! Thanks Karlie for making our first experience at Carrabas amazing and we will be back soon!

This restaurant always serves reliable and sometimes outstanding quality food with very good service. We have dined here numerous times and the food and service remain consistently very good. We especially like the Mahi Mahi Wolfe and the brushette. Sign up tor their e-mails and you will receive some really good discounts. We got 20% off the entree our last visit there and a free appetizer the time before.

Always fast courteous service, food is always fresh and tasty. We just had dinner there tonight as a matter of fact. The crusted Parmesan chicken was a taste sensation. Our server Mike was spot on as always. We try to dine here about once a week over the past two years and have never ever had bad service or food. Well trained staff is always friendly and professional.

The service was great! Our server Michael was the best! The black berry sangria was delicious! We went on a Monday for the dinner special and the food was okay. The dessert was delightful!!! We won't be going there regularly but I can't say I won't EVER go back.

My husband, daughter and I went to Carrabba's for Valentine's Day. We waited over 1 1/2 hours to receive any food at all. After an hour, I asked about our food and the waitress was very rude, basically telling me to "look around" and see how many people there and "what did I expect?" The food was terrible- extremely greasy for all three of us. We left and will never return.

Food was good. But all down hill from there. Our waitress spilled 2 full trays of drinks at our table and behind us the wait staff dropped a huge tray of glass in which we were showered with glass chips landing all over our table including a huge chip hitting one of us in the forehead. Terrible service, but the manager did take money off our bill. Never again will I dine there. If the waitress paid more attention to what she was serving instead of what wonderful service she was going to give us, maybe they wouldn't have spilled, and she disappeared for awhile, saying she went to her car to get a different tray because the first one was slippery. It didn't help, that was the tray she was using when she spilled tray #2. She also kept going over the receipt to tell us to call and give her a good rating.

Visited restaurant last night (mostly because it was convenient at the time). Waiter was really friendly and attentive. Food was so lacking in quality. Calamari was returned to kitchen - Luke warm and overcooked. Second time out was the same, plus very salty. Other entree was overdone and unappealing. Manager offered excuses and deducted one entree from check. He was very pleasant, but we left with the feeling that it was our last visit. Too bad - remember Carrabbas as being pretty good for fast food. Opinion has since changed. Again, kudos to waiter. He was nice and we tipped him appropriately.

Good food, good service. They brought the food out cold, but we complained and they redid the whole table in record time, and it was all hot and tasty. Sometimes it's more about how you handle things when something goes wrong, and in this case they were brilliant.

I'm not crazy about chain restaurants either but this place does not compare to any of the other Italian chains. Arrived at about 5:30 and was seated immediately. Server that we had (Steve) was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, presentable and whatever else a good server should be. In fact, this Carrabba's has the whole customer service idea down to a science. Everyone was friendly from the greeting when we entered to the thank you when we left; and they all sounded sincere. My mouth was happy with all the great flavors of the food. It was fresh and well prepared. I had what amounted to a tasting menu (I forget the 'Trio' name they gave it) so I could taste different items. Mezaluna (half moon ravioli stuffed with chicken, ricotta and spinach in a tomato cream sauce) was especially flavorful. Chicken Bryan from the wood burning grill is topped with goat cheese, sundried tomatoes and a basil lemon butter sauce was excellent but the chicken could have been pulled from the fire maybe two minutes sooner Fish chowder was fresh and had a nice little bite to it. Wine list is excellent but a little pricy in my opinion Great dining experience!

They had a nice booth table for 6 waiting for us. The service was outstanding with followups by the manager who corrected any deficiencies without us even asking. The food was up to Carrabbas high standards. The fish was cooked perfectly, not dry like most restaurants. Definitely an excellent addition to the Palm Coast dining scene.

I love Carrabba's! We have one in our home town that I go to and the menu is the same here... I don't think this place has been open very long because the meal took a long time to be prepared... the manager was very apologetic and gave us a drink to pacify us... Dinner came and we loved it just as much as our home town restaurant. The portions were so large we both brought home some for left-overs! PS I love their Sangria!

We stopped by for a nice meal, since we were familiar with the quality of Carrabba's food in the past. Unfortunately, this franchise is not quite ready for prime time. The service was erratic, the food was undercooked, the sauce was watery, and the order was taken wrong twice. While the manager did take the meal off the check, it is obvious this restaurant needs to have more practice and some quality control invested into it before making it to the big time. We were very disappointed,

i hate leaving bad reviews but i feel that this place is just a complete waste of time and money. we were the only ones there...it took 15 minutes to get a round of drinks so we ordered another 2 each so we wouldnt have to wait so long. just kidding, still took forever. limes brought to the table were later taken away to make other peoples drinks. the food was so disappointing. chicken picatta was literally 2 breaded chicken pieces... no lemon, no capers. :( steak panini's were both sent on burnt bread and as i recall, the menu stated it had prosciutto in it which it did not. cucumber & tomato salad and chips were great. we ended up staying until 12 when they closed at 11. wasn't our fault! we were literally the only people in there and it just took forever to bring our items. i ordered a salad with my dinner as we were pretty hungry, everyone else's came early but mine came 1 minute before my entree. who needs it at that point. they just seemed flat out annoyed with us and were pouring half assed drafts and putting little effort into the food. would never return. after having to ask multiple times for our drinks and other things, they didnt even give us anything to make up for it. even charged for a half poured beer which was mainly foam. BOO! totally not worth the money and be careful- they include tip!

HORRIBLE! I wouldn't go back there if it was the last place on earth. I went there for a team dinner. We called HOURS prior to make sure they were able to seat us with their so-called "call-ahead seating." We arrived on time and although we called ahead, they had us wait an hour plus! During that time, the manager, Brian, Brad, Ted, something like that, was very rude to us. We came as a team and wanted to sit as a team and when he asked if we wanted tables all over the restaurant and we replied with a NO, he replied with a very sarcastic, inappropriate answer. He did this repeatedly over the time we waited. FINALLY, when we did get seated, it took almost 2 HOURS to get our meals. It was insane. We would have left, but at that point it was approaching 10pm and everything in the area was closing. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. They can't handle a group and more importantly, the customer service and food were atrocious. They should be ashamed of themselves and the manager is more in line to be a manager at a used car lot. Bloomin Brands should be embarrassed of this location and close it! CM

Average 3-4 times a month for dinner, food always comes out hot and tasty. As working professional couple we eat out often. Service is 2nd to none. Hands on owner, nice variety of dishes, always tasty hot and delicious. ......

Ordered a steak cooked medium and received it well-done. If you don't even know the difference between a medium and well-done steak then there's no hope for this place. Found food to be over priced for the portion sizes and quality. Won't be too long before this location closes at its current standard. I'd rather travel to the Daytona location than support the current standards of this location.

My wife and I, along with another couple, have eaten a lunch and a dinner here in the past month and everything, from the service to the food, was excellent. The staff was friendly, courteous and attentive. They have really improved since our experience here shortly after they opened. We pretty much decided to never go back, but we're glad we decided to give them another try. We recommend this restaurant.

While I personally am not a fan of chain restaurants, I have family that is and their fav is Carrabbas. We walked in (no rezos) at 4:30pm requesting a table for 10 & we were seated immediately. Food & drink orders put in & received smoothly. Apps received within 5 min of ordering and the rest of our dinners came out within appropriate time as well as the fact that all our entries came out together so no one was left waiting. My tots were given coloring books & crayons by the sweet hostesses to keep them busy which is a must these days for restaurants catering to families. My parental units brought their own cake which was apparently no problem as they took it out of the box & brought over with a cake cutter & candles. Sweetness. Leftovers of food & cake packaged for us to take home without problem as well. It may be the fact that we came in early but the place filled up by the time we left & everything was still executed perfectly. Nicely done Carrabbas.

Ignore the complaints. Had to wait on Valentine's Day? Had a bad server who dropped the tray? That doesn't equal 1 star. We had great service and we knew what to expect. Although a chain, the food and service consistently are outstanding. This exit had tons of Italian places, and some just pizza joints. I'm sure some of them are good, but why take the chance on the unknown when you've just spent hours on I-95?

You know I remember when the name Carrabba's meant great food, good service what happened? Today was my 50th birthday and all I wanted was to go to Carrabba's for my late lunch. It was awful!!! I told my family that this was where I wanted to go, and it was such a disappointment. I won't go back and now they won't either. So sad

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
